“Changing Climate, Changing Oceans: What Does It Mean for Citizens of Virginia?”
Melissa Booth has lived a life that children dream about. As an aquatic microbiologist, she has studied tiny life forms in polar oceans, mangrove swamps, coral reefs, rivers, and lakes. Her findings reflect changes that are occurring world-wide. Dr. Booth has worked under the auspices of the University of Georgia, the Center for a Sustainable Coast, Roanoke College, Savannah State University, Skidaway Institute of Oceanography and Oklahoma State University.
